Our mission is to help industries “achieve more with less energy” by innovating how they cool their systems. More energy efficiency means fewer emissions. Because we enable industries to reach cooler and more efficient operations, we also contribute to a smarter, more sustainable future.
We envision data centers, power plants, and vehicles worldwide running on nanofluids to save energy and prolong equipment life.

[ Our story ]
Synano was started with a mission to pioneer nanofluids
as innovation for future’s heat-transfer technologies.
Synano was founded in 2017 by a team of thermal and nano materials experts who asked a bold question:
‘What if tiny particles could solve huge overheating problems?’ After years of research of graduates from TU Delft, our breakthrough came when we succeeded in stabilizing nanoparticles in low viscosity fluids while proving, through lab tests, a consistent above 10% increase in heat-transfer. A Dutch startup, Synano was born to bring nanofluids from lab to industry.
In 2026, we have a multidisciplinary team in Europe and serve globally in industries from IT to Energy…

PhD in Material Science & Chemistry Uni. Groningen,
with 8+ years in chemical formulations. Srikanth leads product development at Synano, optimizing nano-fluids for industry needs worldwide.
Material research
MSc Material Science Engineering at TU Delft, specialized in material research. Hector conducts R&D at Synano, focusing on nanoparticle–fluid interactions to ensure stable formulations and long-term reliability.

MSc in Strategic Management at RSM. Svetozaar manages Synano’s business development activities, marketing, and partnerships, while initiating scalable, value-generating market collaboration opportunities.
Thermal Engineer
MSc Mechanical Engineering specialized in energy, flow, and process technology. Sharven develops thermal and economic simulations, to test evaluate performance improvements over standard base-fluids.
PROCESS ENGINEER
MSc Chemical Engineering at TU Delft, specialized in process modeling and simulation. Ruchita works on Synano’s scale-up production line, moving nano-fluid production from batches to larger industrial volumes.
