This year, Héctor Díaz will attend the EV.HEV Thermal Management Conference in Munich on March 26 and 27, where one of the main topics is thermal management of hybrid and fully electric vehicles.
Advanced cooling technologies are changing how the industry thinks about thermal management in EVs, and one area getting significant attention is immersion cooling. With immersion cooling, the total weight of the thermal management system can be reduced by up to 50%. The cooling system becomes much simpler without complex piping, resulting in a cleaner, lighter cooling solution for vehicles.
At Synano, we work with battery fluid manufacturers to understand how enhanced thermal management can impact cooling of batteries and power electronics. Together we are developing and testing fluids with 9 to 15% higher heat transfer coefficients for better thermal management of battery systems and high-power electronics.
If you are actively working on immersion cooling for battery systems or high-power electronics and want to explore what better fluids could do for your development, reach out to Héctor for a company-to-company introduction at the conference or directly.
