Synano has officially opened its production facility in Wateringen, the Netherlands, marking the transition from lab-scale formulation to industrial production of nano immersion oils for data center cooling.
The facility is now producing at scale for industrial partners. By adding nano additives to existing cooling oils, Synano’s formulations boost heat dissipation efficiency by up to 15% and increase flash point, raising both cooling performance and energy efficiency without requiring changes to existing liquid cooling infrastructure.
The numbers behind the ambition are clear. Synano’s goal is to save data centers €2.5 billion by 2030 on energy efficiency alone, by upgrading liquid cooling systems to nano-enhanced solutions. The Wateringen facility is our next step that makes that goal achievable.
